What width should a men's wedding band be?
4 min read ยท True Vow Rings

Width is measured across the top of the band in millimetres. It changes both the look and the fit of the ring.
2 to 3 mm: slim and light
Slim bands suit smaller hands, men who rarely wear jewelry, and couples who want matching rings. A 2 or 3 mm band also makes a neat women's band.
6 to 8 mm: the classic men's look
Most men's wedding bands are 6 to 8 mm. An 8 mm band looks bold and confident and suits larger hands.
The Polished Dome Tungsten Wedding Band comes in slim 2 and 3 mm and bold 8 mm widths.
Wider bands fit tighter
A wide band covers more of the finger, so it feels snugger than a slim band of the same size. If you measured with a slim ring and want 8 mm, consider half a size up. Read between two ring sizes and check our ring size guide.
Quick rule by hand size
Ring size 7 to 9: 6 to 8 mm looks balanced. Size 10 and up: 8 mm suits well. Slim fingers: try 3 mm. Browse all men's tungsten wedding bands.
